A logical fallacy is described as a common error in reasoning that undermines the logic of an argument (Bauer & Erdogan, 2016). It is said to be a situation where an individual is trying to persuade others and put forth arguments that “seem” logical but are flawed arguments. From the common logical fallacies identified in our reading, I could recall that I have witnessed or experienced a bandwagon argument. Bandwagon fallacy is a claim that is either accepted or rejected by the population, but the population belief is also used to persuade others even though the idea or result might be wrong.
